| I bought this Christmas 2008, The price was great for all the pieces that I got with it. This is a great set for the handyman-homeowner. I'm glad I bought it. It comes with some quick fit adapters that I found made changing from drivers to drill bits easy. |
Not so good

No drivers for square drive screws, lots of drivers for things I never use. The drill bits I can use in my compact driver/drill are not titanium. The storage trays are pure junk, and they hold a number of items. That's why things fall out of the container. I highly recommend this item to people who don't do much.
edit; I found a couple of square drives in one of the cheap boxes that keep falling out as you open the container. There is no way to tranfer them to one of the more prominent places in the carrier. The drill bits with driver bases are pure junk.
So for me, everything I wanted out of the set is unsatisfactory. |
Nice Set!

| I purchased this set a while back and have used many of the bits and pieces that come with it. I have no complaints about the quality of the drill bits or other pieces. It is not top end quality but then you really didn't think it would be with the low price. This is sufficient for the average homeowner whe does work around the house from time to time. The box clasp broke about the third time I opened it but not really a big deal to me. It is now on sale for 25 dollars. Get it!! |
Lousy case and bits break easily

First I must acknowledge that for this price, it's hard to complain too much about quality, but for those who think they are getting a wonderful deal, I must pose a warning: you're not.
The case is flimsy; the latches fall of easily. As others have experienced, bits were loose inside when it arrived. This isn't such a big deal, but something to be aware of.
The piece count is inflated by the inclusion of many duplicate or almost-identical pieces. Turns out that's not such a bad thing though because some of those pieces break quite easily! The drills, including the "titanium" ones break quite easily. If you want to drill into drywall they will have no problem, but I had two bits break in half while trying to drill into a hard wood. The normal one first and then the titanium one.
Also worth noting is that the "titanium" bits don't have the quick connect ends, only the normal bits do.
So in conclusion, this is a cheap set that is ok for very light duty work, but should probably be compared to a 68-Piece or even smaller set from a better manufacturer for price comparison.

| Great kit, a lot of bits and extremely reasonable price. Nice to have all these sizes, just in case. |
