I ordered this product from Amazon. It shipped right away and got to me in Iraq in about 2 weeks. I've always had issues making out what is being said on tv. It doesn't matter how loud the volume is, I always miss out on some dialoge during a movie or program. Well with this headset on it's like night and day. Everything is crystal cear. Bass and treble are very good. If your like me and miss out on some of what's said get these. You sometimes have to move them around in the base so that they start charging but there is a red light indicator to let you know whether you have good contact. Playing video games on my Xbox 360 is really fun. Some of the voices in the games sound very close to you and it makes the game feel more real.
If you are close to a wireless router that gives off a 2.4ghz signal you probably will have issues. Fix that by upgrading to wireless N technology that runs off of 5ghz and you will overcome this issue. I have not been able to really test out range yet because I live in a confined space. Good product though, I recommend them. |
Best Gift I ever gave!

| I have a very close friend who loves to stay up late watching Sci Fi and movies. Her housemates are early-to-bed/early-to-rise people, so she was used to watching everything with the volume very low. When we discovered these headphones, it seemed like the perfect solution. She loves them! The sound quality is excellent and she doesn't have to miss part of the experience of watching a good show - the surround sound. The price at Amazon was great- about $100 less than at retail stores. |
Worth the Price

| These are great. I have had some other wireless Dolby/Digital headsets, and they just don't compare. I am so please with these. While they may not completely block out outside sound, they are perfect for my needs. My only wish might be for a lesser price. But they are still well worth the price I paid. |
Very Impressive

I have been looking for something like this for long time. I bought four and now my entire family (wife + 2 kids) can watch movies without disturbing my neighborhood and each one can set the volume as he/she desires (low my wife, high me and super-high my kids). I also bought 4 additional cables so the kids can use it individually for listening their music without us noticing.
The only problem is that from time to time the sound breaks-up without an apparent reason, it's temporary but other than that I love it! |

Pros: Clear transmission; Optical/digital connection is a nice feature; listening mode
switches are helpful; can use 2 AA batteries as a backup
Cons: 2.4 Ghz freq; lacks seperate battery charging station; Fit was not great
Overall a great buy. Sony, in my experience, manufactures reliable products, and I am satified with these headphones. I have to unpulg my cordless phone to use them because of the 2.4Ghz frequency, which is inconvienient (Sony didn't think this one out to well). The fit was not really good either, so, ended up rotating the ear pads 180 degrees and the fit is now comfortable. There is no good way to adjust the range of frequencies in the sound -too much midrange and not enough bass for me. I am, however getting used to the sound. With use of the optical cable, there is very little noise in the background (hissing). If you are not really, really picky about headphones, these are a good choice. |
