I am pleased with the product, however who ever designed the label for top should have their head
examined. I attempted first to remove the label with a single edged blade, to slow. I then
tried to use a remover "goo gone" which is designed to loosen the glue it did and ruined the finish
on the top of the unit, I have used this product for a long time and never had a problem like this
which leads me to believe that the finish on the lid is substandard. |
Pretty awful

| This thing will not get hot enough to cook anything. I spent a good half hour trying to cook eggs on the griddle plate and finally gave up. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk. |
Some Pros, Some Cons

I tried my grill for the first time to make breakfast: Sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and potato slices. I started with the sausage and potatoes, given the longer cooking time required. Everything started well, but then I noticed the heat seemed usually low, even though I had the dial set on high. The sausage patties initially browned on one side, but after flipping them, it appeared the temperature had dropped too much to brown the other side. The potatoes would not brown or crisp at all. The eggs, however, came out perfect.
Reading the other reviews (especially Rex Kullmann's) I see this is a common issue. The grill apparently drops in temperature much too far between heating cycles.
That is unfortunate because I thought I was getting a convenient, all purpose cooker. Any foods meant to be fried do not work well in this cooker. I even had to throw out the notion of having a 'quick' alternative to oven and stove top cooking. The widely varying cooking temperatures made the cooking times usually long. My first George Foreman breakfast took twice as long as it should have.
For those reasons, I couldn't give this product 5 stars. The best I could do was 3 stars for convenience.
[Edit Update] I changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. Since writing the above review, I have had many more opportunities to use the grill. The grill still has the temperature issue - it cools down too much between heating cycles (the reason I left off one star).
It will cook well if you resist the urge to lift the lid and check on the food every few minutes (as I tend to do). I burnt a couple of steaks testing this method, but once I got the timing down, I was able to cook some steaks to perfection. Other foods are coming out much better with practice.
Overall, I'm very happy with the grill. :)

| Ok, so I just upgraded to the new 360 grill from my old George Foreman grill. I researched it by reading and watching others reviews which were a great help. I used mine for the first time with the old on on standby just in case. Let me start with the sticker which seemed to be a big problem for most. It wasnt an issue, just peel off slowly. I made 10 grilled chicken breasts on my new grill and 4 chicken breast took 7 minutes to cook on medium to high setting it was well worth the wait. They came out juicy and tender. The grill cooks slower than my other one due to the temp control which is a big improvement . I dont burn my chicken breasts after cooking two of them now its more like after 8; the last two were welllll done. Oh yeah I havent had an issue with the top plate falling off, but when I do I will let you know. Good luck and I am off to eat!!!!! |

Have cooked (a lot) using all the plates and they all work very well.
Looked at many of the reviews before purchasing.
Several reported problems with plates falling off and/or becoming warped.
Mentioned this to my son who we purchased a 360 for XMAS He asked whether we were installing the plates correctly. He'd noticed that there was a right way and a wrong way to install the plates. I had not noticed with the exception that the some installed harder than others.
He showed me that there is a tab on the plates that only fits correctly in the larger indentation on the grill. Once I figured that out the plates fit very well. The manual doesn't make that too obvious either. Might help other users. All you have to do is turn the plates over and look. The way they fit into the grill becomes obvious. I was kind of embarassed my kid had to show me that. My guess is that the warping of plates some users say they have problems with might be caused by installing the plates wrong too.
Ours works GREAT. Cooks pizza VERY well too.
