Excellent sound especially for small rooms. It is missing the bass, but that is no problem for me!
Looks nice and is compact, just what I was looking for! |
Great sound, low cost

| I wanted cheap but good bookshelf speakers to replace my low end right/left speakers of my computers 5.1 speaker system. For under $70 they more than do the job making my home office music sound almost as good as my high end Quad home entertainment speakers. |
Very nice speakers for the price

I'm using these speakers - with the Pyle mini 15w amp also available from Amazon - on my desk, playing sound from my PC and occasionally my PS3. I don't consider myself to be an audiophile, but I do have a discerning ear and a collection of headphones from Sennheiser, Grado Labs, and Sony. These speakers are a good value for the money. The midrange and treble are great, and while the bass isn't stellar, it's better than I'd expected given the size of the speakers. The stereo imaging is good. I've listened to a wide variety of music through these speakers, classical, jazz, country, and rock, and all sounded very good.
Note that despite the item description, these speakers are indeed sold as a pair. |
Beware the low price!

| Don't let the low price fool you - this is the lowest quality speaker that Polk sells. If you want the Polk name and nothing more, get these. If you want something that sounds better, get one of their higher lines. |
