one thing I like to point out, is this toy is a repaint of the original Decepticon Brawl toy released durring the first film's run (I don't mean it as a bad thing ofcourse).
Deep Desert Brawl has all the gimicks 07 Brawl had. firing missile, same articulation, the one thing that has changed, is the connection parts for his arms, where finaly fixed in the Deep Desert line. before they couldn't attach, but now they finaly attach properly.
thoughs who don't see any educational value in Transformers Toys should realy take into consideration, while these toys don't teach kids the ABC's. or how to teach them how to do algabra. they DO provide your child important motor and problem solving skills. these toys will also teach them something truely important; PATIANTS! dispite what some would prefer to think, it IS good your kids learn this stuff. especialy Patiants. your kids will need to learn it, because this figure can be a little complicated at times (especialy how to get the arms out of the top componant of the tank, where the main gun is). soon they'll be able to transform it with ease, then they won't need the instructions. soon they will want something more complicated. and soon your kids would be able to drive a car when they are 16 (or 17 depending on what the laws are in your area for the appropriate age to drive).
my point is these toys are both fun, imaginative, and educational. they also have greate Play quality, your kids can play with the figure both as a car (in Brawl's case a tank) and a robot. and build there Motor, problem solving, and patiance skills they need all from one toy. getting more toys will not only give them more to play with but also provide veriety (I am not saying go buy more toys for hasbro I am going to reveal my reason now). transforming diffrent toys, with diffrent transformations will increase your childs problem solving skills along with identifying how each part moves and where it goes.
I could be giving these figures more credit then they need, but if you think about it. these toys will educate your child.
for collectors, this figure is a great addition to any collectors shelf. especialy if said collector missed out on the first Brawl figure. |

| Gift for my four year old grandson. Not only did he love it he knew his name. Not what I would call educational--but it was a great gift. |

| Bought this for our son, 12 yrs., a transformers fan. He loves a challenge which he found in this item. At first it frustrated him as he encountered some difficulty, but he was told not to give up, to give it a rest and then try again. he persevered and now tranforms it with ease. He enjoys playing with it as well. Transformers has good educational value because it helps to develop one's motor skills, helps them to think and resolve a task and to have patience as it was not easy to transform at first. Good quality toy. |
